Also, we send out an email newsletter about 3 times per year. 6th Annual Vibrational Astrology Conference 2024!!!

We are very excited to announce that the 2024 VA Conference will be 3 days, Friday evening to Monday evening!
Previous conferences were 2 days in length. By popular demand we have added an additional day dedicated to applying what we learned.
We made many small improvements to the 2023 Conference and we have plans for more improvements to the 2024 Conference. There are many details to organizing a great conference, and we review every aspect of the conference to ensure that the event is spectacular. We were delighted to see new friendships forming and good friends meeting each other again. The joy of learning from one another, helping one another, and sharing what we love in person cannot be duplicated in any other way. The Conference is a special treat for many of us. It is a long distance and the travel costs, etc. are not trivial, but we are pleased that the effort is worth it and so many attendees plan to return.

We hope you and your family are safe and healthy. We wish all of you a joyous Summer season.
June 2022 VA Forecast by David Cochrane
At the time of the New Moon on May 30, 2022, Venus was conjunct the Sun/Neptune midpoint and the Moon/Neptune midpoint with only a 3 minute orb. These same 4 planets also form a very strong grand trine pattern in the 13th harmonic chart. This is a dramatic planetary configuration. What does it mean? It means that people want to be respected and appreciated for whatever dream they have, no matter how odd or peculiar it may appear to other people. These past two weeks have been a time of needing to let people express their strong views on LGBTQ rights, abortion, and the style of art and music that they love. If we try to restrict people's feelings of freedom and individuality on any of these topics, it will only result in misunderstanding and frustration.
At the time of the New Moon on May 30 Jupiter was also at the midpoint of the New Moon and Pluto with a small orb, and all 4 planets are vibrating to the 11th harmonic along with Mars. You can look at the 11th harmonic chart to see these 5 planets forming a stellium with less than a 7 degree orb. This planetary configuration means that people feel impatient to follow their dreams and they will not have their dreams and big hopes blocked by others. The past two weeks have been a time of emotional catharsis where everyone wants to feel that they have an opportunity to grow and reach for the stars. Oppressive governments meet a lot of resistance at this time. Power struggles between wealthy people and anyone who feels that they are denied opportunities tend to reach a boiling point.
The Ful Moon on June 14, 2022 shows that a resolution to some of the issues that have come up in the past two weeks is likely. What we call very high octaves of hard aspects between the Full Moon, Mercury and Saturn show that there is greater interest in analyzing the details of a situation and taking a rational approach. Science has a chance of getting more attention, and this can help overcome problems of the influence of money and power on social policies. The navamsa (9th vibration chart) shows hard aspects between a Jupiter-Saturn conjunction with Mars and Neptune, which indicates an opportunity to build social systems that effectively help communities. There are opportunities over the next two weeks to make real progress in building healthier communities. In the USA where there are raging debates over gun control there is a good possibility that sensible regulations that most people can agree with can be developed, promoted and implemented.
There are rarely dramatic changes in a few weeks and the trends described above get moderated by the individual circumstances within local areas and within the lives of each individual. I doubt that changes will be dramatic but they are meaningful. Working with the global energetic flow of the times facilitates our ability to succeed in endeavors that have very broad outreach, but may not have a big effect on the details of our immediate personal lives.

- The Pre-Conference now will start in the morning instead of at 1 PM
- Many of you want to be able to ask more questions about VA in an informal setting: We will now have an “Informal Lunch Time Q&A”. Bring your lunch to the conference room and meet the speakers and ask questions about VA.
- In each lecture you will learn how new insights and discoveries in Vibrational Astrology are applied to birth charts, and how you use them in your own astrological practice, for your own personal use, or to study your family and friends’ charts. The conference speakers are very busy conducting research, but they will not bore you with all of the details on how the research is done. Instead, they will briefly present the research results, and then show you how the findings open new doors to chart interpretation.
- For those of you who want to start the day feeding your body and soul in preparation for a day of learning, there will be an early morning yoga session every day with two professional yoga practitioners and teachers.
- Instead of having your Asc, Sun, and Moon positions on your name tag (which is very common in astrological conferences), we can put your strongest vibrations in your chart on the name tag. This will be a fun way for us to connect on the astrological wave lengths that we are on.

The 2022 Vibrational Astrology Conference will be held in person here in Gainesville, FL. The conference schedule, speakers, and other details have been finalized, and you can now register to the conference. The hotel rate is very reasonable and you can take advantage of our early bird rate.

Speakers: Kenneth Assemi, Linda Berry, Starlene Breiter, David Cochrane, Fei Cochrane, Gisele Terry and Christopher Pridham. All lectures provide practical information about astrological interpretation based on data-driven research.
Astronomer and Videographer: Bob Lighter is our VA Conference videographer. He is a professional video recorder as well as an astronomer. He will bring his high powered telescope to the conference for our Star Watch night. He is looking forward to showing you the stars live with this telescope. There is no charge for this of course.
Banquet: All registered attendees receive free banquet ticket. An evening of fun and live entertainment and dinner. So come and bring your best attire for the formal evening banquet.
Keeping in touch
On May 21st, we moved our web site to a larger, more up-to-date and faster server.
The migration to the new server introduced some problems that we did not anticipate, and the website was down for a few days. Also, some of the technical details of how things are internally processed are different and this affected emails and the Online Chart Service. We are happy to report that everything is back up and running again and now on a faster and more secure server. If you placed an order any time from the evening of May 21 to 31 and you have not heard from us, this means that we did not receive your order. Please consider re-ordering it. Some of you called and asked about the orders you placed, and I appreciate your understanding, patience and support during this this transition. Thank you very much. For those of you who were not successful in contacting us during this transition, we are sorry we missed you and we apologize for the inconvenience. We are back up and running so feel free to contact us again.
Astro*Dictionary
Some of you have mentioned that you use the online Astro*Dictionary to look up terms, you have also requested improvements to the format to make it easier to navigate. We have done this. The Astro*Dictionary is a free service to the public.

Mercury Retrograde
Mercury went Retrograde at 10:34 PM GMT on May 29 and will go direct at 10:00 PM GMT on June 22.
Why are we sending this newsletter while Mercury is retrograde? As described above, haven't we here at Cosmic Patterns Software and Matrix Software had enough problems during this Mercury Retrograde period? Interestingly, in the composite chart of the transits and my (Fei's) natal chart there is a nearly exact Sun-Merury conjunction opposition Jupiter. A combination of Sun, Mercury, and Jupiter is a good time to send a newsletter! With Mercury retrograde it is indeed not a perfect time to send a newsletter but if we wait for perfect times, we can wait a very long time! Every astrologer uses different techniques and the composite chart of the transit chart and natal chart may not be important to you. A wonderful thing about the Kepler and Sirius software is that it is used by Hellenistic, Classical, Vedic, and modern western astrologers because of the enormous number of features and ease of use.
By the way, if you want to learn more about determining times when planets station, how to see aspects in the composite chart and natal chart or anything else, consider becoming a Kepler Club member.
Also, David's AstrologyDC websit (https://www.AstrologyDC.com), like Kepler Club offers monthly meetings where you can ask questions and discuss topics that interest you. Lastly on the topic of Mercury retrograde, you might enjoy the article Making Friends with Mercury Retrograde that I wrote.
Software Updates
Michael Erlewine, the original founder of Matrix Software and winner of the Regulus Lifetime Achievement Award, uses a technique called Burn Rate. In late April the calculation of the Burn Rate was added to both Blue*Star Personal and Blue*Star Pro.
If you own Blue*Star and purchased it before late April, you can email us to receive the link to the free update program. Send the request for the Blue*Star 6 Update to kepler@astrosoftware.com and please include your full name and home address along with your customer number. Note that our response may be slow due to the likelihood of a large number of requests in response to this newsletter. We will get back to you within 2 to 3 working days.
We will also add the Burn Rate calculation to Win*Star Pro soon. We will keep you posted. There is a good chance that we will announce that this feature is available in Win*Star Pro in next month's newsletter.

The year 2020 has been difficult and challenging for all of us and for so many people around the world. In this issue of the newsletter I share some thoughts about dealing with the corona virus and I also have a personal request to assist someone in need.
One silver lining around the clouds of this year for me has been providing software and customer support to assist people in starting or expanding astrological services that can be done from home and without requiring personal interaction with others. Information services will continue to expand and grow after the pandemic is over and astrology is an information service.

Most of you have contacted us in the past for upgrades, new products, questions, comments or suggestions, & technical support, but there are some of you that we have not heard from. We are very happy to report that the new versions of Matrix products have brought these programs to a new level of reliability. These programs are now very stable and run beautifully on Windows 7 through 10 as well as older versions of Windows. Updating these programs was an enormous amount of work and expense but it was well worth it.

Interpreting Planetary Patterns with Vibrational Astrology

In this weekend workshop we are going to learn how we can find planetary patterns in the birth chart that give people special talents, motivations, or problems. Saturday Morning: Will start with a short meditation
An introduction to Interpreting Planetary Patterns: We learn what it is about and it is used in Vibrational Astrology, how to create it, what a vibrational astrology is about, and how to create.
Saturday Afternoon: We learn how to use software features to quickly identify the most important planetary patterns and how to focus on the most important issues for our clients. Sirius superb astrology software is the official astrology software used in David's Workshop. David is the author of the Sirius program.
We will also see how these planetary patterns affect the lives of 3 famous people.
Sunday, December 4, 9:30 AM - 5:30 PM:
On Sunday we apply what we learned on Saturday. We look at the birth charts of a few attendees and we see how Vibrational Astrology identifies the most important talents, issues, concerns, problems, and motivations of people. By seeing live demonstrations of interpretation the ideas come alive and we experience Vibrational Astrology rather than just learn about it.
By the end of the workshop you are likely to feel confident hat you can begin to use ideas in Vibrational Astrology analysis of charts in the future.
